Jennifer Pearson, AIA
Jennifer joined the Rachlin Team in 2015 as a program manager. She is a licensed architect with over 22 years of experience in the profession. Although her career has primarily focused on educational projects from K-12 to university level, she also has experience with other public-sector projects such as ports, parks, and courthouses as well as multi-family housing.
Jennifer is currently working as a program manager for Downey Unified School District’s $295-million Measure ‘O’ bond program. Prior to joining Rachlin Partners, she served as a project manager for the Topaz Multifamily Residential Development, the Pier G Container Terminal Maintenance & Operations Complex at the Port of Long Beach, and numerous school modernization projects for Los Angeles USD, Long Beach City College, Glendale USD, Pomona USD, Simi Valley USD, Santa Monica College, and Torrance USD.
Jennifer graduated from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1993. She spent her 4th year of college studying at the Washington-Alexandria Center Consortium for Urban Studies in Alexandria, Virginia.
When Jennifer isn’t spending time with her two teenage sons or working on home improvement projects with her husband, you can probably find her doing something crafty. She’s tried her hand at such pursuits as jewelry making, glassworking, and painting. She also spends several nights a week practicing her arm bars and triangle chokes at the gym as part of her training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, and kickboxing.
