Darin Hamilton,

Associate

B. Arch, BA, AA

Following his graduation from California State Polytechnic in 2002, Darin has worked as a Project Manager, Job Captain and Draftsman on various re-locatable and school modernization projects for Rachlin Partners. As part of his team, Darin has performed surveys for the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles and Fire Stations for The County of Los Angeles as well as school surveys for numerous school districts.

Education

Majoring in Architecture, Darin received an Associate of the Arts from Santa Monica College in 1987. A change of direction saw him focus his studies on Physical Education when he received his Bachelor of Arts from California State University in 1993. Realizing his true passion however, Darin went on to achieve his Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2002.

Personal

Few people can claim that they still have their very first car, Darin can! Despite his fire-engine red 1979 Datsun 280zx, which has accumulated some 300K miles, oddly being stolen three times - each time stripped to the bone – it has stuck with him. "I love tinkering with vintage cars, sometimes my Westie Bijoux will just hang out in the back seat as if on a ride as I am tinkering." Adding to his restoration agenda, Darin has been slowly restoring a Mercedes 300E 1987.
