Deborah’s 30 years of experience within the design and construction profession and 20 years working with Rachlin Partners gives her the skills to effectively manage all aspects of a project. Her expertise extends from strategic planning and preliminary design to the oversight of major construction and facilities management projects. She has managed over 28 million square feet including facility planning, space programming, design and construction of corporate, financial, education, entertainment, media and telecommunication projects.

Creative problem solving is one of Deborah’s stronger assets, however this combined with her critical awareness of schedule and budget prove beneficial in her ability to quickly mobilize and effectively manage a team to the successful completion of projects.

Deborah’s strong strategic, organizational and management skills are a proven asset.

Projects


Deborah’s strong focus is on projects related to academia, technology and media. Current and recent projects include Google, YouTube, Los Alamitos Unified School District, Loyola Marymount University, Blue Shield of California, Long Beach City College, Kodak Theatre, Paramount Pictures, Wall Street Journal, BET, MTV Networks, Comedy Central, MSC Software, Wasserman Media Group, Lionsgate, and Summit Entertainment. She excels at Budgeting and Scheduling along this with her keen awareness of Design gives clients that level of trust that their program goals are being met.

Education


Deborah’s academic credentials include interior design, business management, construction management and most recently LEED accreditation. She Holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University with continuing education courses through UCLA and the Smithsonian Institute.

Personal


Outdoor activities are a great release for Deborah and she continues to run both 5k and 10k charity events, along with skiing and trail hiking with her 3 dogs. The balance then to all the energy exertion is Deborah’s time in the kitchen to further develop and hone her gourmet cooking skills.
