After working with various award-winning Los Angeles firms and heading up his own practice, in 2012 John joined Rachlin Partners and assumed the role of Project Manager.

A licensed architect, both in California and Florida, John brings vast experience-based knowledge to the firm, backed by over 35 years in the profession. During his career, John has worked in all facets of the profession from business development and design to construction administration.

Port buildings, parks and courthouses are part of his deep resume, but John’s specialty lies in educational facilities - from the pre-school to the university level.

Education

John graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1978 and studied at L’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris during his senior year.

Personal

This aquatic Angeleno finds himself more at home in or near water than on land. With his family in tow, he names sailing in Marina Del Rey, cruising the Caribbean, snorkeling around Hawaii or fishing the Florida coast as his ultimate guilty pleasures.
